Our family has embarked on virtual travels to various countries and regions. To explore these countries and their cultures, we have followed along with the festivals, cooked and eaten traditional foods, learned of traditional handicrafts with hands on exploration, along with many activities to immerse ourselves. Chronicled here are some of these activities.

Our Weekend in a Nutshell

A quiet weekend for the girls this past weekend - Elle was sick with some kind of super flu which had her feverish on and off for four days (!). She started feeling better Sunday afternoon, and did enjoy a bit of time outdoors, since we had beautiful sunny, hot weather all weekend. Pea took advantage of the downtime to work on a science project and lots of reading.

Housebound, Hubby and I took it in turns to work outdoors, and started on our garden shed ''beautification project'' - he put in some click ''tile'' flooring over the plywood base, and we got it ready for a white wash indoors - I'm so excited to have a nice, clean, organised garden shed! We also put in half the vegetable garden and found parsnip which was seeded last year in the spring.
